Admission Eligibility Details:
Candidate should be a citizen of India.
Admission or would complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the first BHMS degree course.
Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic) conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board in one and the same attempt in the following group of subjects with the minimum eligible marks. (Improvement marks will not be considered)
Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or)
Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject.
Minimum Eligibility Marks:
OTHER COMMUNITIES
A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
BACKWARD CLASSES
A minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
MOST BACKWARD CLASSES
A minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
SCHEDULED CASTES / TRIBES
A minimum of 35% marks in aggregate in the Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
Note:* Only persons who belongs to Maharashtra and to one of the communities included in the Backward classes shall be treated as Backward classes. Rules of Admission
Rules governing admissions shall be as prescribed by the University, Government of Maharashtra from time to time.
Curriculum
Every student shall undergo a period of certified study extending over a period of four academic years, from the date of commencement of his / her study for the subject comprising the curriculum in Homoeopathy, as laid by the Central Council of Homoeopathy, New Delhi, to the date of completion of the examination followed by one year compulsory rotatory internship training programmed. The total course is 5 ½ year which includes one year internship and 4 ½ year of academic learning.

After passing the final BHMS examination, one year shall be devoted by the student for his / her compulsory rotating internship.
